Mundus is a multidisciplinary project that seeks to inform and stimulate debate around themes that structure national and international reality.
Mundus intends to assert itself as a useful tool for understanding contemporary economic, social and political dynamics. Each quarter, we produce a print edition that brings together a panoply of diverse articles written by students, professors, researchers and activists. The result is distributed at a free price in the city of Coimbra so that it is accessible to everyone. We left the paper to explore other aspects and different ways to convey a message. In Coimbra, we aim to establish partnerships and synergies with other projects that operate in the cultural and artistic area.
Mundus asserts itself as a space for reflection guided by a critical spirit, and forbidden to sensationalism and immediacy, not being shaped by any political or economic interest. We intend to give a voice to those who are silenced, to social movements, to the emancipatory political forces and to the citizen alternatives that appear on the horizon.
Mundus is funded through voluntary contributions from its supporters.
