(n.1981, Guimarães): Criadora, intérprete e figurinista. Licenciada em escultura pela ARCA-EUAC (2007). Foi como membro do CITAC (2006/2019) que entrou no contexto de produção e criação em meio artístico. Destaca a sua formação com Gonçalo Amorim, João Brites, Paula Diogo, Miguel Seabra e Vânia Rovisco. Teve formação em Formação em Corte e confecção de figurinos para teatro na CEARTE Coimbra (2009), Organização de Eventos Culturais, produzido pelo Centro para os Assuntos da Arte e Arquitectura - Laboratório de Criação Digital (2012) e em Produção Cultural, produzido pela Companhia Instável (2011). Trabalhou como performer com Wojtek Ziemilsky, Pedro Penim, Carlos Curto, Andrés Bezares, Paula Diogo, Vânia Rovisco, Rodrigo Malvar e Patrick Murys (entre outros). Foi co-fundadora e membro activo da DEMO (Dispositivo Experimental, Multidisciplinar e Orgânico), onde desenvolveu parte do seu trabalho nas artes performativas, na produção e direcção administrativa (2010-2021). Pela DEMO, dirigiu e interpretou e desenvolveu trabalho na área de cenografia, figurinos e adereços em vários espectáculos entre 2010-2022. Destaca no seu percurso os espectáculos: CÂMARA ESCURA do Projecto Buh!, CEC Guimarães 2012, como produtora executiva, figurinista, aderecista e actriz; ARRAIAL da Circolando (2012/2013) como apoio à produção e direcção de cena. Em 2022 foi intérprete de MAPPA MUTANDI da Tarrafo, Coimbra; foi uma das seleccionadas para o Laboratório Linha de Fuga 2022 onde iniciou a investigação para a criação de MOIRA; MIRACULUM um espectáculo em co-criação com Gil MAC a convite da ASTRONAUTA de Guimarães. Privilegia a prática e o trabalho em colectivo como forma de aprendizagem e crescimento profissional e pessoal.
(b.1981, Guimarães): Creator, performer and costume designer. Graduated in sculpture from ARCA-EUAC (2007). Was as a member of CITAC (2006/2019) that she entered the context of production and creation in the artistic world. She highlights her training with Gonçalo Amorim, João Brites, Paula Diogo, Miguel Seabra and Vânia Rovisco. She had training in Cutting Training and making costumes for theater at CEARTE Coimbra (2009), Organization of Cultural Events, produced by the Center for Art and Architecture Affairs - Digital Creation Laboratory (2012) and in Cultural Production, produced by the Company Unstable (2011). She also worked as a performer with Wojtek Ziemilsky, Pedro Penim, Carlos Curto, Andrés Bezares, Paula Diogo, Vânia Rovisco, Rodrigo Malvar and Patrick Murys (among others). She was a co-founder and active member of DEMO (Experimental, Multidisciplinary and Organic Device), where she developed part of her work in the performing arts, production and administrative direction (2010-2021). For DEMO, she directed, performed and developed work in the area of scenography, costumes and props in several shows between 2010-2022. In her career, she highlights the following shows: CÂMARA ESCURA by Projecto Buh!, CEC Guimarães 2012, as an executive producer, costume designer, prop designer and actress; ARRAIAL by Circolando (2012/2013) as production support and stage direction. In 2022 she was an interpreter for MAPPA MUTANDI in Tarrafo, Coimbra; she was one of those selected for the Linha de Fuga laboratory in 2022, where she began the research into the creation of MOIRA; MIRACULUM a show co-created with Gil MAC at the invitation of ASTRONAUTA in Guimarães. She privileges practice and collective work as a form of learning, professional and personal growth.
O projecto artístico Moira é um cruzamento entre a performance, a tecelagem e a costura, um projeto de investigação artística inspirado nas Moiras da mitologia grega.
Esta criação trabalha sobre o tempo, a vida, a morte e a manipulação. É um processo de recolha de memórias e de histórias aliado ao acto de costurar e à composição sonora. Margarida traz para cena a prática de costura, processo meditativo e solitário, transformando-o numa prática artística e performativa. Parte-se da utilização de objectos, normalmente presentes num atelier de costura, para a materialização e transformação do espaço de cena. Ao lado de Margarida está Francisco que desenvolve uma composição sonora em tempo real, a partir dos sons do próprio espaço, dos movimentos da performer e das máquinas.
The artistic project Moira is a cross between performance, weaving and sewing, an artistic research project inspired by the Moiras of Greek mythology.
This creation works about the concepts of time, life, death and manipulation. It is a process of collecting memories and stories combined with the act of sewing and sound composition. Margarida brings to the scene the practice of sewing, a meditative and solitary process, transforming it into an artistic and performative practice. It starts with the use of objects, normally present in a sewing workshop, for the materialization and transformation of the scene space. Alongside Margarida is Francisco, who develops a sound composition in real time, based on the sounds of the space itself, the movements of the performer and the machines.
