Josefa Pereira (BR) é performer e coreógrafa. Baseada em Lisboa, também vive entre pontes e parcerias com a sua cidade, São Paulo, onde graduou-se em Comunicação das Artes do Corpo (PUC-SP, BR) através do programa de bolsas PROUNI, e em Amesterdão onde atualmente cursa mestrado no programa DAS Choreography (AHK, NL) como bolseira pela Fundação Gulbenkian. Sua trajetória é marcada por diversas colaborações e participações em projetos da cena paulistana, como nos coletivos Núcleo de Garagem e Ghawazee Coletivo de Ação, e também com artistas como Marta Soares, Wellington Duarte, Cia Perversos Polimorfos entre outros. Neste contexto surgiram interesses em torno de coletividade, presença e gestualidade como campo de tensionamento estético e político. Atualmente é performer e criadora em "Monstra" com direção de Elisabete Finger e Manuela Eichner, tendo circulado por festivais como Monstra Verbo (BR), Festival Internacional de Danza Contemporánea-FIDCU (UR), Moderna Museet (SE). Desde 2008 atua como arte-educadora tendo por 6 anos atuado junto ao Programa Vocacional (BR) e desde 2019 atua como professora de dança junto ao Forum Dança fazendo deste um espaço para experimentação e troca para sua prática e pesquisa artística junto a outros artistas e interessados, onde também foi integrante do PACAP I (Programa de Criação em Artes Performativas).
Entre seus trabalhos destacam-se também "Mandíbula" (2018) e "Égua" (2017) em parceria da artista Patrícia Bergantin com quem também criou Contágio 4x3 e Contágio 4x4 ambas residências para encontros e experimentação de formas de colaboração coletiva. Atualmente dedica-se à circulação de seu trabalho "Hidebehind" (2018) tendo passado por espaços como SESC Belenzinho (BR), Teatro do Bairro Alto (PT), e Acker Stadt Palast (DE) bem como à estreia de Glimpse (2020) junto ao Festival Cumplicidades, trabalhos solo que são parte da trilogia de Bestiário PINK em desenvolvimento.
Josefa Pereira (BR) is a performer and choreographer. Based in Lisbon, she also lives between bridges and partnerships with her city, São Paulo, where she graduated in Communication of the Arts of the Body (PUC-SP, BR) through the PROUNI scholarship program, and in Amsterdam where she is currently pursuing a master's degree in the DAS Choreography program (AHK, NL), with a scholarship from the Gulbenkian Foundation. Her trajectory is marked by several collaborations and participations in projects of the São Paulo scene, such as in the collectives Núcleo de Garagem and Ghawazee Coletivo de Ação, and also with artists such as Marta Soares, Wellington Duarte, Cia Perversos, Polimorfos, among others. In this context, interests around collectivity, presence and gestures emerged as a field of aesthetic and political tension. She is currently a performer and creator on "Monstra" directed by Elisabete Finger and Manuela Eichner, having circulated in festivals such as Monstra Verbo (BR), Internacional de Danza Contemporánea-FIDCU (UR), Moderna Museet (SE). Since 2008 she has worked as an art educator, having worked for 6 years with the Vocational Program (BR) and since 2019 she has worked as a dance teacher at Forum Dança, making it a space for experimentation and exchange for her artistic practice and research with other artists and where she was also a member of PACAP I (Programa de Criação em Artes Performativas). Among her works, "Mandíbula" (2018) and "Égua" (2017) also stand out, in partnership with the artist Patrícia Bergantin with whom she also created Contágio 4x3 and Contágio 4x4, both residences for encounters and experimenting with forms of collective collaboration.
