TIAGO CADETE PhD in Arts from PPGAV-UFRJ. Holds a BA in Theatre from the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema and completed the Advanced Artistic Creation course at Escola de Artes Visuais Parque Lage. He has participated in workshops and masterclasses with Romeo Castellucci, João Fiadeiro, João Mota, Alfredo Martins, Gustavo Ciríaco, Fernanda Eugénio, among others. He created the following performances: MONUMENTO (2025); MANJAR (2023); CONCERTO (2023); BRASA (2021); ATLÂNTICO (2020); FIUME (2020); CICERONE (2020); ENTREVISTAS (2018); ALLA PRIMA (2016); GOLDEN (2014); HIGHLIGHT (2011). He collaborated with Solange Freitas on CORTEJO (2022); with David Marques on APAGÃO (2017) and CRITIQUE (2020); with Solange Freitas and Catarina Vieira on FESTIM (2012). Between 2011 and 2013, he worked with Raquel André, creating TURBO_LENTO (2013); LAST (2012); and NO DIGITAL (2011). He has collaborated with the Educational Service of Culturgest. He designs all the scenographies for his own works and, in parallel, for artists such as Gaya de Medeiros, David Marques, Leonor Cabral, among others. Researcher at the Theatre Studies Centre of the Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon. Adjunct Guest Professor at the Escola Superior de Dança (2022–2024). Mediator for the Geração Futurama Project (2022). Has conducted workshops across Europe, South America, and Asia. Artistic Director of the Co-pacabana structure since 2018. Associate artist at EIRA between 2010–2014.
