Desde a sua saída do armário da SIDA em 2016, Vinicius tem exposto na Bienal do Cairo-EGY, Museu de Arte Moderna -SP e Centro Municipal de Artes Hélio Oiticica - RJ. Ao longo da sua investigação não académica, trata a vivência como a definição para a teoria da (sua) existência. Passou por residências como a Radicale 1924 - FR, EtopiaZGZ - ES com sua primeira individual, e Konvent.zero - ES
A sua investigação procura reivindicar as reproduções de violências às quais o seu (nosso) corpo está sujeito.
Since his coming out of the AIDS closet in 2016, Vinicius has exhibited at the Cairo Biennale (EGY), Museum of Modern Art (BR), and Hélio Oiticica Municipal Arts Center (BR). Throughout his non-academic research, he treats living as the definition for the theory of (his) existence. He has been in residencies such as Radicale 1924 (FR), EtopiaZGZ (ES) with his first individual exhibition, and Konvent.zero (ES).
His research seeks to claim the reproductions of violence to which his (our) body is subjected.
Projeto de investigação artivista e pesquisa de dados sobre o HIV/AIDS coque pretende desenvolver-se em rodas de conversa, imersões criativas e performances.
“Procura-se” de “Procurado”,criminoso. “Curar” ação de curar. “Curar-se”.
Vinicius propõe atividades que deem visibilidade aos estigmas que o HIV carrega. Pretende contribuir para a desconstrução dos tabus sexuais e devidas atenções às manutenções de lucro que são sugeridas como únicas formas de existência sobre uma pandemia que já dura 41 anos sem vacina.
Dentro destas imensas possibilidades de propostas que tem desenvolvido à volta deste tema, o projeto apresenta trabalhos como: “Atravessamentos” - instalação coletiva feita a pensar conceitos de comunidade, imunidade e contágio. “Corpo Lucrativo Positivo Exposto” - performance com sons feitos com frascos de remédio em formato de denúncia ao silêncio como reforços para mantimento e seleção de corpos lucrativos. E “Remoto Controle” - Performance que aborda sistemas de vigilância onde o público comanda os movimentos da performance de suas casas, através de uma vídeo chamada.
This is an artivist research project about data that talks about HIV and AIDS, which aims to be developed in conversations, creative immersions, and performances.
Procura-se (“Wanted”) from "Wanted criminal" and “curar” (heal), as the action of healing. "Heal itself".
Vinicius proposes activities that give visibility to the stigmas that HIV carries. He intends to contribute to the deconstruction of the sexual taboos and of the given attention to the profit preservation that are suggested as the only ways of existence over a pandemic that already lasted 41 years without a vaccine.
Within these immense possibilities of proposals that have developed around this theme, the project presents works such as Atravessamentos (“Crossings”) - a collective installation made to think concepts of community, immunity, and contagion; Corpo Lucrativo Positivo Exposto (“Exposed Positive Profit Body”) - a performance with sounds made with medicine bottles, denouncing silence as reinforcement to maintain and select profitable bodies; and Remoto Controle (“Remote Control”) - a performance that addresses surveillance systems, where the audience commands the movements of the performance from their homes, through a video call.
