Vivemos num tempo de suspensão. Já não estamos apenas entre um antes e um depois, mas dentro de um depois que ainda não tomou forma. Entre crises sucessivas, guerras latentes e futuros incertos, instala-se a sensação persistente de que algo está a mudar profundamente. Habitamos um mundo em tensão, onde os sistemas afetivos, sociais e políticos perderam consistência e os equilíbrios se tornaram precários.
Neste contexto, surge uma pergunta urgente: o que fazer com o depois?
O que fazer depois de uma rutura, de uma perda, de uma crise ou de uma euforia? O que fazer quando aquilo que conhecíamos deixa de servir, mas nada novo se estabilizou ainda?
A partir de uma inquietação pessoal, a criação desloca-se para um território comum: o depois não como consequência, mas como condição contemporânea. Um espaço onde o tempo falha, os gestos procuram forma e o corpo tenta reorganizar-se sem mapa. Talvez o depois não seja o fim de algo, mas o lugar onde outra forma de vida começa a ensaiar-se.

We are living in a time of suspension. We are no longer simply between a before and an after, but inside an after that has not yet taken shape. Amid successive crises, latent wars and uncertain futures, there is a persistent sense that something is profoundly changing. We inhabit a world in tension, where affective, social and political systems have lost consistency and balances have become precarious.
In this context, an urgent question arises: what do we do with the after?
What do we do after a rupture, a loss, a crisis or an euphoria? What do we do when what we once knew no longer serves, but nothing new has yet stabilised?
Starting from a personal unease, the creative process shifts towards a shared territory: the after not as consequence, but as a contemporary condition. A space where time fails, gestures search for form, and the body attempts to reorganise itself without a map. Perhaps the after is not the end of something, but the place where another form of life begins to rehearse itself.
A performance that accompanies the artists in residence.
