Linha de Fuga recebeu várias candidaturas locais para o programa de bolsas de criação feito em parceria com o TAGV. Ficámos felizes de ver tantos artistas locais a apresentarem-se a esta convocatória e pela vontade de entrar dentro dos meandros do que também pensamos o que é a arte e o seu papel no mundo. Infelizmente só conseguimos acolher duas propostas, mas outras ficámos com vontade de acompanhar e saber mais.
Para já, ficam a saber quem vamos apoiar e acompanhar durante o processo de criação.
"Liturgia de Regeneração", de Cláudio Vidal, é uma performance de dança inspirada no pensamento de Byung-Chul Han, que investiga o ritual como forma de reconexão comunitária e simbólica num tempo marcado pelo consumo e pela produtividade. O corpo surge como lugar de regeneração, memória e partilha, com ações de mediação integradas no processo.
"Manual para Pertencer", de Carolina Costa Andrade e Matilde de Fachada/Estrutura Baldia, explora os mecanismos que constroem a ideia de pertença — entre inclusão e exclusão. A partir de investigação em contexto local, entrevistas e escuta ativa das comunidades, o projeto cria um espaço de encontro e reflexão crítica sobre as formas de viver em comum, sem representar mas fazendo emergir diferentes experiências no processo artístico.
Cláudio Vidal cruza teatro e dança butoh numa investigação contínua sobre o corpo, a memória e o invisível. O seu trabalho entende o corpo como repositório do mito coletivo, propondo a criação como escavação de memórias de ressonância partilhada. Licenciado em Design e Comunicação pela EUAC, frequentou o CITAC e a Nordic School of Butoh, sendo cofundador do coletivo DEMO, com projetos apresentados nacional e internacionalmente.
A Estrutura Baldia é uma estrutura de criação sediada em Coimbra que cruza artes performativas, mediação cultural e experimentação comunitária, distinguindo-se pela atenção ao quotidiano e à memória coletiva. Neste projeto participam Carolina Costa Andrade (1999), criadora e trabalhadora de teatro, mestre em Estudos do Teatro pela FLUL, com criações como Mary ou Maria (2023) e Dono de Quê? (2024) e Matilde de Fachada (2001), atriz, criadora e música formada pela ESEC, com uma prática multidisciplinar entre interpretação, criação e composição musical para teatro.
Linha de Fuga received several local applications for the creation grants programme developed in partnership with TAGV. We were pleased to see so many local artists putting themselves forward for this open call, and by their willingness to engage with the very questions we also ask ourselves about what art is and its role in the world. Unfortunately, we were only able to take on two proposals but there were others we felt drawn to follow and learn more about.
For now, here is who we will be supporting and accompanying through the creative process.
Liturgy of Regeneration, by Cláudio Vidal, is a dance performance inspired by the thinking of Byung-Chul Han, which investigates ritual as a form of communal and symbolic reconnection in a time defined by consumption and productivity. The body emerges as a site of regeneration, memory and sharing, with community mediation actions integrated into the process.
Manual for Belonging, by Carolina Costa Andrade and Matilde de Fachada/Estrutura Baldia, explores the mechanisms that construct the idea of belonging - between inclusion and exclusion. Drawing on local research, interviews and active listening within communities, the project creates a space for encounter and critical reflection on ways of living in common, not seeking to represent but to allow different experiences to surface and inform the artistic process.
Cláudio Vidal's practice brings together theatre and butoh dance in an ongoing investigation into the body, memory and the invisible. His work understands the body as a repository of collective myth, proposing creation as a process of excavating memories with the potential for shared resonance. A graduate in Design and Communication from EUAC, he attended CITAC and the Nordic School of Butoh, and is co-founder of the collective DEMO, with projects presented nationally and internationally.
Estrutura Baldia is a creative structure based in Coimbra working across the performing arts, cultural mediation and community experimentation, distinguished by its attention to the everyday and to collective memory. This project brings together Carolina Costa Andrade (1999), theatre-maker and theatre worker, holder of a master's degree in Theatre Studies from FLUL, with works including Mary ou Maria (2023) and Dono de Quê? (2024), and Matilde de Fachada (2001), actress, maker and musician trained at ESEC, with a multidisciplinary practice spanning performance, creation and musical composition for theatre.
