No dia 26 de Março de 2026, o grupo informal Periferias Centrais realiza na Covilhã, um dos seus encontros presenciais anuais. O grupo Periferias Centrais reune-se mensalmente para troca de informações e práticas, discussões sobre temas da atualidade, de forma a suster uma rede de solidariedade entre todas as estruturas. Dois deste encontros são feitos presencialmente.
Neste primeiro encontro presencial de 2026 as estruturas que fazem deste grupo juntam-se para conversar sobre temas importantes para o desenvolvimento dos seus trabalhos, solidificar as redes e para conhecer o território e contrexo de trabalho de um dos participantes deste grupo, neste caso, a Mistake Maker, aproveitando para estabelecer diálogos com associações, artistas e políticos da região.
O último encontro anual das Periferias Centrais realizou-se em Coimbra e foi dinamizado por Linha de Fuga e Citemor. O tema desta discussão foi “A Censura nas Artes e na Sociedade”. Pode assistir ao encontro aqui.

On 26 March 2026, the informal group Periferias Centrais will hold one of its annual in-person meetings in Covilhã. The Periferias Centrais group meets monthly to exchange information and practices, discuss current topics, and sustain a network of solidarity among all participating organisations. Two of these meetings take place in person each year.
At this first in-person meeting of 2026, the organisations that make up the group will come together to discuss topics important for the development of their work, strengthen networks, and get to know the territory and working context of one of the participants—in this case, Mistake Maker—while also establishing dialogues with associations, artists, and local politicians.
The last annual Periferias Centrais meeting took place in Coimbra and was organised by Linha de Fuga and Citemor. The theme of that discussion was “Censorship in the Arts and Society.” You can watch the meeting here.
