O coreógrafo Cristian Duarte é um artista paulistano com mais de 25 anos de experiência. A sua formação inclui o Estúdio e a Cia Nova Dança em São Paulo e a graduação no P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts, Research and Training Studios) em Bruxelas. A sua prática artística tem sido marcada pela criação de contextos de experimentação e formação em dança como APT?, DESABA e LOTE/Z0NA. Foi convidado como professor pela P.A.R.T.S. (Bruxelas), plataforma SICW - Seoul International Choreography Workshop (Seul), DOCH/SKH-Stockholm University of the Arts (Estocolmo). Coreografou para o Cullberg Ballet (Estocolmo), Transitions Dance Company no Laban Center (Londres). As suas criações têm sido reconhecidas pelos principais prémios de dança do Brasil e é apresentada internacionalmente. Foi um dos curadores do Programa Artístico da Bienal Sesc de Dança 2019.
*Z0NA é uma iniciativa do criador para estar, criar, produzir, difundir, co/mover o pensamento e excitar a perceção virtu/sensori\al com dança junto de outres artistas e técnicos profissionais que gostam, apoiam e promovem o trânsito entre as diversas áreas do conhecimento, entre linguagens, criando contextos para experimentação e pensando esse fluxo de informação como uma estratégia de investigação em dança.
Choreographer Cristian Duarte is an artist from São Paulo with over 25 years of experience. His training includes the Estúdio and Cia Nova Dança in São Paulo and his graduation at P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts, Research and Training Studios) in Brussels. His artistic practice has been marked by the creation of contexts of experimentation and training in dance such as APT?, DESABA and LOTE/Z0NA. He was invited as a teacher by P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels), the platform SICW - Seoul International Choreography Workshop (Seoul), and from DOCH/SKH-Stockholm University of the Arts (Stockholm). He has choreographed for Cullberg Ballet (Stockholm), and Transitions Dance Company at the Laban Center (London). His creations have been recognized by the main dance awards in Brazil and are performed internationally. He was one of the curators of the Artistic Program of the Sesc Biennial of Dance 2019.
*Z0NA is an initiative of the creator to be, create, produce, disseminate, co-moving the thought and excite the virtual/sensory perception with dance, together with other artists and professional technicians who enjoy, support, and promote the transit between the various areas of knowledge, between languages, creating contexts for experimentation and thinking this flow of information as a research strategy in dance.
