Laboratório aberto a artistas, autores, críticos, estudantes e demais interessados (profissionais ou não profissionais) que tenham interesse em explorar a escrita sobre artes performativas–tanto de forma tradicional como experimental.
Facilitado por Cláudia Galhós, Pedro Vilela e Xavier de Sousa/performingborders, o laboratório centra-se no desenvolvimento coletivo de abordagens criativas à escrita em relação às performances e práticas presentes no festival Linha de Fuga, no contexto performativo de Coimbra e além fronteiras regionais. Oportunidade para aprofundar esta prática e estabelecer contactos com pessoas que trabalham neste campo, ao mesmo tempo que se envolvem com a performance e novas formas de escrita e reflexão sobre esta. Um espaço para partilhar, aprender e refletir.
Recomenda-se às pessoas participantes que tragam cadernos, canetas e quaisquer ferramentas de que necessitem para escrever.

Claúdia Galhós é jornalista, especialista em artes performativas e escritora. Escreve sobre artes performativas em geral e dança em particular para jornais desde 1994, em publicações como BLITZ, O Independente, Público, Jornal de Letras, NetParque (portal de cultura do Parque das Nações), Diário Económico, Dance Europe, Mouvement, “Festival Bytes” (foi colunista do blogue da European Festivals Assocition, EFA, 2012/2013), Visão, entre outros. Escreve sobre artes performativas para o semanário Expresso desde 2005. Fez documentação de seminários, festivais e programas de experimentação e residência artística, como o Colina – Colaboration In Arts, de Rui Horta (que aconteceu no Convento da Saudação, O Espaço do Tempo, em 2003 e 2004), TryAngle – Performing Arts Research Laboratories (2012, projeto europeu liderado por O Espaço do Tempo, de Rui Horta), MOV-S (espaço de intercâmbio internacional de dança e das artes do movimento espanhol, com caráter itinerante, em Barcelona, 2007, Galiza, 2009, e Madrid, 2011), Festival Citemor – Festival Internacional de Teatro de Montemor-o-Velho, BoCA – Bienal of Contemporary Arts, a título de exemplo… Foi, entre 2005 e 2006, observadora/consultora da rede Íris (rede de programadores de Itália, França, Espanha e Portugal). Na área da cultura em geral e dança em particular, publicou o livro «Corpo de Cordas – 10 anos de Companhia Paulo Ribeiro» (Assírio & Alvim, 2006); o ensaio biográfico «Pina Bausch – Sentir Mais» (Don Quixote, 2010), “There is nothing that is beyond our imagination” (2015, no âmbito da rede europeia “Imagine 2020 – Art and Climate Change”, que reúne 10 teatros europeus, liderada pelo Kaaitheater, em Bruxelas), “15 anos do Espaço do Tempo” (2016, Centro Coreográfico de Montemor-o-Novo, de Rui Horta); “TryAngle – Performing Arts Research Laboratories” (2013); “Colher para Semear – 25 anos de GDA e 10 anos de Fundação GDA (edição Fundação GDA, 2021).

Pedro Vilela é artista-curador-investigador. Doutorando em Educação Artística pela Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto, desenvolve a TREMA!, associação que conecta artisticamente Brasil e Portugal e colabora com diferentes estruturas da cidade do Porto. Tem interesse central na cena afro-latino-americana, refletindo temas como decolonialidade e dispositivos de racialidade. É ainda o primeiro latino-americano a ganhar a Bolsa Magaly Muguercia, promovida pelo Programa Iberescena.

An open laboratory for artists, authors, critics, students and all those interested (professional or non-professional) in exploring writing on the performing arts – both in traditional and experimental ways.
Facilitated by Cláudia Galhós, Pedro Vilela and Xavier de Sousa/performingborders, the laboratory focuses on the collective development of creative approaches to writing in relation to the performances and practices presented at the Linha de Fuga festival, within Coimbra’s performative context and beyond regional borders. An opportunity to deepen this practice and establish connections with others working in the field, while engaging with performance and new forms of writing and reflection about it. A space for sharing, learning and reflecting.
Participants are encouraged to bring notebooks, pens and any other tools they may need for writing.
Collaboration between performingborders and the Linha de Fuga Festival, within the framework of the co-production with TAGV/LIPA, with the support of the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama – University of London (London, UK) and Associação Azul (Montemor-o-Velho, PT).

She has been writing about the performing arts in general and dance in particular for newspapers since 1994, for publications such as BLITZ, O Independente, Público, Jornal de Letras, NetParque (the Parque das Nações cultural portal), Diário Económico, Dance Europe, Mouvement, “Festival Bytes” (she was a columnist for the European Festivals Association blog, EFA, 2012/2013), Visão, among others. She has written about the performing arts for the weekly Expresso since 2005. Pedro Vilela is an artist-curator-researcher. A PhD candidate in Artistic Education at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Porto, he develops TREMA!, an association that artistically connects Brazil and Portugal, and collaborates with different structures in the city of Porto. His central interest is in the Afro-Latin American scene, reflecting on themes such as decoloniality and raciality devices. He is also the first Latin American to receive the Magaly Muguercia Grant, promoted by the Iberescena Programme.
