Partindo do tema ‘A Performatividade da Amizade’, que definiu a 5ª edição do festival Linha de Fuga em 2025, Xavier de Sousa e Ed Freitas performam elementos do “Arquivo das Amizades”, um livro de edição única que funciona tanto como um álbum de fotos e oferendas de amigos, como um olhar reflexivo, crítico e multidisciplinar sobre o festival. Nesta apresentação, são performados textos enquanto o público é convidado a interagir - com carinho e cuidado - com o livro e os seus materiais. No final, o público é convidado a levar um exemplar de uma zine, edição complementar ao Arquivo.
Drawing on The Performativity of Friendship, the theme of the 5th edition of the Linha de Fuga Festival in 2025, Xavier de Sousa and Ed Freitas perform elements from the Archive of Friendships, a unique-edition book that functions both as an album of photographs and offerings from friends, and as a reflective, critical and multidisciplinary perspective on the festival.
During the presentation, texts are performed while the audience is invited to interact — with affection and care — with the book and its materials. At the end, the audience is invited to take away a copy of a zine, a publication created as a companion to the Archive.
