O número #13 é seguido da performance de Inés Sybille Vooduness, artista catalã de descendência haitiana, que imagina possíveis encontros com divindades do vodu haitiano, procurando reterritorializar a estratégia sincrética de sobrevivência desta religião.
No Coreia #13, um conjunto de contribuições explora modos diversos de pensar e experienciar o corpo, o gesto e o mundo. Traduziu-se o manifesto do Pavilhão da Palestina, pelo coletivo Learning Palestine em 2024, sublinhando o papel da arte no contexto geopolítico atual. Alice Chauchat apresenta uma série de partituras coreográficas que refletem sobre como a dança pode transmitir uma ética da relação, questão que também se desdobra num texto de 2003 de Paula Massano. David Marques & Teresa Silva interrogam sobre as especificidades dos processos e do labor na dança, enquanto Gustavo Ciríaco questiona a relação entre mestria e mistério no fazer artístico. Lucía Russo & Marcela Levi, em conversa com Laura Salerno, mapeiam relações, corpos e espaços, procurando tornar sensível o invisível. Inés Sybille Vooduness cruza identidade e memória numa viagem ancestral sincrética; Izabelle Louise leva-nos pela reconstrução do manto Tupinambá e uma reflexão acerca da importância da arte indígena; Kátia Manjate articula corporeidade e território no contexto de Maputo e Katherine Dunham pensa a dança como contributo para a coesão social.
O ensaio visual é de Pedro Barateiro, que desafia as noções de identidade e portugalidade; e Simon Asencio coloca em diálogo rumores, palavras e voz, num texto para ser sussurrado ao ouvido.

Inspirada em cenas da vida da mártir Santa Inês, Vooduness parte ao encontro de Erzulie, loa do amor, da beleza e da maternidade, e dos seus rostos multifacetados. Poderá Erzulie ser mapa e espelho, apesar das impossibilidades do corpo diaspórico e das lógicas do colorismo? A partir de uma dramaturgia impactada por estímulos da linguagem da internet, do atrito entre Santa Inês e Erzulie e da insistência em passos característicos do Kuduro angolano, Vooduness mergulha num estado onde é possível iniciar uma conversa espiritual.
Once again, we host the launch of Jornal Coreia. The issue #13 is followed by the performance Santa de substrato autónomo, by Inés Sybille Vooduness, a Catalan artist of Haitian descent, who imagines possible encounters with Haitian Vodou deities, seeking to reterritorialise the syncretic strategy of survival of this religion.
In Coreia #13, a set of contributions explores diverse ways of thinking and experiencing the body, gesture and the world. The manifesto of the Palestine Pavilion by the collective Learning Palestine was translated in 2024, underlining the role of art in the current geopolitical context. Alice Chauchat presents a series of choreographic scores reflecting on how dance can convey an ethics of relation, a question also unfolded in a 2003 text by Paula Massano. David Marques & Teresa Silva examine the specificities of processes and labour in dance, while Gustavo Ciríaco questions the relation between mastery and mystery in artistic practice. Lucía Russo & Marcela Levi, in conversation with Laura Salerno, map relations, bodies and spaces, seeking to render the invisible perceptible. Inés Sybille Vooduness weaves together identity and memory in a syncretic ancestral journey; Izabelle Louise takes us through the reconstruction of the Tupinambá mantle and a reflection on the importance of Indigenous art; Kátia Manjate articulates corporeality and territory in the context of Maputo and Katherine Dunham considers dance as a contribution to social cohesion.
The visual essay is by Pedro Barateiro, challenging notions of identity and “Portuguese-ness”; and Simon Asencio brings rumours, words and voice into dialogue, in a text to be whispered into the ear.

Inspired by scenes from the life of the martyr Saint Agnes, Vooduness sets out to meet Erzulie, loa of love, beauty and motherhood, in her multifaceted forms. Could Erzulie be both map and mirror, despite the impossibilities of the diasporic body and the logics of colourism? From a dramaturgy shaped by the stimuli of internet language, the friction between Saint Agnes and Erzulie, and the insistence on characteristic steps of Angolan Kuduro, Vooduness plunges into a state where it is possible to begin a spiritual conversation.
