Ana, Mariana e Márcio, são Periféricas. Um trio de multidões de invisibilizados, explorados e mantidos numa rotina de insustentabilidade e desumanidade, para que outra parte da sociedade funcione em Humanidade. Um trio de multidões de precarizados na mecânica do fazer das práticas artísticas e nos seus outcomes criativos, para que estruturas concêntricas e endotrópicas continuem a funcionar sobre si mesmas, aparentemente.
Conversaremos com os 3 para entender até que ponto este trabalho em residência faz parte de um modo de vida ou é só uma peça.
“O que me faz artista” é uma rúbrica de conversas desenvolvido por Linha de Fuga onde se conversa com artistas sobre o seu percurso, com o intuito de humanizar a criação artística e demonstrar todo o trabalho, dúvidas e questões que um artista se coloca ao criar.

Ana, Mariana and Márcio are Periféricas. A trio made up of multitudes of those who are made invisible, exploited and kept within a routine of unsustainability and dehumanisation, so that another part of society can function in humanity. A trio made up of multitudes of those in precarious conditions within the mechanics of artistic practice and its creative outputs, so that concentric and endotropic structures can continue to function upon themselves, at least apparently. We will speak with the three of them to understand the extent to which this residency-based work is part of a way of life or merely a piece.
“What Makes Me an Artist” is a series of conversations developed by Linha de Fuga, in which artists are interviewed about their trajectories, with the aim of humanising artistic creation and revealing all the work, doubts and questions that artists face when creating.
